Do you love seasonal decor but don’t want to pay an arm and a leg for it? How about free activities for your kids? Well, I have good news for you. If you look around, especially during holidays like Easter, you can find great free printables that you and your family will enjoy. And I’ve created a few for you to enjoy right here.
Spring is starting to come alive here on Vancouver Island (in Canada). The annual flower count has started in Victoria and the cherry blossoms are starting to bloom everywhere – it is so incredibly beautiful.
The days are getting longer and the weather is starting to get better. But… there are still rainy days to fill. That’s where activity books and home decorating come into play, when you are staying home and need to stay busy and have some fun.
We just recently published our first kids book called “99 Easter Mazes for kids 5-10”. It will be available for purchase here. In the meantime, I have included 4 of the pages that you are welcome to print out for free for your kids to enjoy. If the kids like them, then you could come back to order the full book.
Free Easter Printables can be found here.

Frugal tips:
Once your kids finish the mazes, have them color and sign them. You can put them up on the fridge, or we used to have a string with clothes pins that we would hang kids’ art on. Here’s why:
- It keeps them busy and off their devices
- It builds self confidence when we showcase our kids artistic talents
- It becomes part of the Easter decor
Then, at the end of the season, you can take them down and add them to your bin of decorations that you take out each year. When your kids are teenagers, they may seem horrified to see the art from their younger years, but it goes a long way to show how much you love and appreciate them over time when you continue to showcase their work.
For the adult printables, they can easily be added to your decor by simply printing them out and putting them up around the house. I have a couple of frames that I swap out each season with new printables. You can also put them up on pin boards or even clipboards. Basically, whatever you have handy.
It keeps the decor fresh, but at almost zero cost (it really only costs for the frames if you need them and the printing if you don’t have free printing available).
Don’t forget to come back often. We intend to share free printables from each of the books that we produce and for each holiday.
I hope that you and the kids enjoy these and that your Easter celebrations are full of blessings and joy.
